the Ed Gabat Service Award

🏆 The Ed Gabat Award for Service and Community
Our club is built not only on athletic achievement, but on the values of service, humility, and community. This award is named in honor of Ed Gabat, a beloved member whose life was tragically cut short in a cycling accident. Ed embodied the very best of our club—always ready to volunteer, always willing to help organize events, and always carrying himself with humility, grace, and a warm smile that instantly put others at ease.

In his memory, this award recognizes a member who goes above and beyond in giving back to the club. Whether through leading rides, organizing events, or performing the unseen and unsung work of administration, recipients of the Ed Gabat Award exemplify the same spirit of generosity, dedication, and kindness that Ed brought to every aspect of our community.
